What Happens If You Miss Breakfast
By Guru Mann
Posted Sat Aug 06, 2011 1:00pm PST

It is the first meal of the day. It will BREAK the FAST of the night. About ten hours went
without any food, but if you slept your body stayed in activity. While you were at rest, your
organs burnt 500 to 600 kilocalories. You need those back to start a new day in a good
                               shape.

Breakfast has always been said to be the most important meal of the day, with those who
skip the meal more likely to have an unhealthy lifestyle.

When you are in a rush and trying to get out the door in the morning, breakfast may be the
last thing on your mind. No matter how much time you have......

8 Great Reasons to Drink Water
By Guru Mann
Posted Sun Jul 31, 2011 7:00pm PST

We all know that water is good for us, but often the reasons are a little fuzzy. And even if we
know why we should drink water, it's not a habit that many people form.

But there are some very powerful reasons to drink lots of water every day, and forming the
habit isn't hard, with a little focus.

The thing about it is, we don't often focus on this habit. We end up drinking coffee, and lots of
soda, and alcohol, not to mention fruit juices and teas and milk and a bunch of other
possibilities. Or just as often, we don't drink enough fluids, and we become dehydrated -- and
that isn't good for our health.

What is Metabolism? Why is it important?
By Guru Mann
Posted Wed Aug 24, 2011 1:00pm PST

Metabolism is the amount of energy (calories) your body burns to maintain itself. Whether
you are eating, drinking, sleeping, cleaning etc...your body is constantly burning calories to
                                 keep you going.

Metabolism is affected by your body composition. By body composition, I mean the amount
of muscle you have versus the amount of fat. Muscle uses more calories to maintain itself
than fat. People who are more muscular (and have a lower percentage of body fat) are said to
have a higher metabolism than others that are less muscular.......

What's your Body Type? Do This! Eat This!!
  ARTICLE # 2
By Guru Mann
Posted Wed Aug 17, 2011 1:00pm PST

EACH one of us has different size, body shape and metabolic make up. So there can never be
a diet which fits us all.

Our diets have to be tailored to our individual body types too. In fact, the best way to
maximise the body’s potential is to customise your diet as well as fitness plan to your body
type. Some of us fall into three basic types: endomorph, mesomorph, or ectomorph.

And, the rest of us are a mix of two body types. There are no tests to tell you about your body
type. Your trainer is the best person to ask........
